Awareness generation programmes for rural women (AGP)

Past performance of PEAS Trust:

• PEAS promoted 165 women SHGs with a total membership of 2476.
• Revolving fund of Rs.`10,000 each to 110 women SHGs for internal lending.
• Revolving loans were disbursed to 60 SHG women to the total of 4,78,150/-
• Awareness Generation Programme (AGP) were conducted to 175 women through 110 session covering 25 women in each 10 days event.
• 45 day EDP training for 25women on food processing industries
• World AIDS Day Campaign-2006 among the Hr.Sec. School Students, PRI members and women SHGs through multi events.
• Science and technology awareness on health and nutrition and preparation of organic manure were conducted for 200 SHG women.
• Awareness on Naturopathy, Yoga and meditation for 300 SHG women and girls

Health check-up camps were conducted with the support of TNVHA in 6 villages of Lalgudi block collaborating with Fullerton India.
